Kailey had another good day!! The hospital "teacher" came by and worked with Kailey for awhile and then Kailey had pet therapy. Kailey loves pet therapy!!! The hospital goes out of their way to make sure Kailey is included in all the activities, even though she is somewhat confined to her room.
Kailey did receive platelets and a transfusion, but that is completely normal. She ate well and was really upbeat, talking to a few folks on the phone.
We ask that you pray that the side effects of the chemo continue to be minimal. We ask that you pray that the doctors and medical staff continue to have clear minds as they treat Kailey. We ask for prayers for the staff at Presbyterian as they come and go from Kailey's room, that we, as a family, could be a witness to them. Kailey has been chosen to touch the lives of so many, many folks...what a great priviledge!!!

Praise God for the great updates so far! We will continue praying for the side effects to be minimal. It was good to have Kristen back home, but we sure did enjoy having Chris for a roommate while she was gone. You are doing a great job blogging, Mrs. Krauss! :)
