October 7th, 8th, 9th

Kailey had another great weekend! She has not had stomach problems and no mouth sores. We are so very richly blessed. She is feeling so good and continues to enjoy getting out of her room and just being Kailey. She had a quiet Saturday and then on Sunday morning, Mrs. Ford and Mrs. Webb came by for a visit. Then in the afternoon, a full party broke out in her room. It was full of friends. Kailey had a wonderful time!!

It was a Clue Jr weekend for Kailey. She learned the game on Friday night and it was on for the rest of the weekend. All the board games she has receieved are just great for keeping her busy in her room.

We need to pause and say Happy Birthday to Grandma Tucker. This website is for Kailey and her journey, but Grandma Tucker has just dropped everything to be at the hospital whenever and as long as she is needed. She stays days and nights at a time and is ready anytime she is needed, all we have to do is call her and let her know little Kailey needs her. Happy Birthday Grandma Tucker!

A friend of the family, Pat, sent Kailey some caps and Kailey just loved the one she had handmade. It was the perfect little cap for Kailey. The soccer family continues to just shower Kailey and her family with blessings. They have been so very good to Kailey!!

Everyone continues to ask what Kailey needs. If feel you have to bring her something, she loves construction paper, craft tissue paper, flashlights, glue gel pens, very soft non-itchy, lightweight hats...suitable to sleep in and seasonal decorations for her room. But really folks, she does not need anything at all.

We just cannot believe how well Kailey is doing. She still receives platelets, transfusions, etc as they are needed, but that is nothing compared to what she could be experiencing. She just looks wonderful. Her eyes just shine and it is so good to hear her laugh. We continue to ask for your prayers....that is the most needed thing for little Kailey. We ask that everytime you think of Kailey, to pause and and praise God for how well she is doing. It is hard to look at her and realize she has leukemia. Continue to praise God for the medical staff who are treating her. They are doing an unbelieveable job in chosing just the right balance of medicine for little Kailey. We have been so richly blessed by their care. Pray they will clearly see God's direction as they continue to treat little Kailey.

Hi Kailey! My name is Natalie and I work with your cousin Kristen. After looking at your new hats, I had to tell you how cute I think they all are! I used to live in Alaska so I like to wear hats a lot too! What a great idea to put a pin on them!

    Kailey,

I enjoyed my visit with you. But, I want a Clue Jr. rematch soon! You will have to learn another new game to teach me. Have a great week!
