Kailey Miller

Kailey was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myelocytic Leukemia) on September 15th, 2005. Because so many people want to be involved, her family thought it best to keep everyone updated through this website. Here you will find updates on how Kailey is doing, what is involved in her treatment at this time, along with some fun pictures of family and friends. Please stay updated to find out how you can be praying for her and our family.

Kailey is back home from the hospital and feeling great. We have been so truly blessed. She is done with chemo and besides a low grade fever last week which required a hospital stay, she continues to amaze everyone!! She will make frequent trips to the clinic until her blood levels are stable and then she will just go in for a monthly check up! How very blessed this little one has been.

Please continue to pray for Kailey. Pray the chemo will be completely effective in treating the leukemia. Kailey has been so very blessed. She has had very little side effects from the chemo.....no mouth sores. Your prayers have done so much for this little girl. Continue to pray she will do well! Praise God for such a wonderful clinic and hospital so close to Kailey's home. Remember the Blume Clinic and Hemby Children's Hospital in your praises to God. Pray Kailey will be a witness for our Lord! Pray without ceasing!!

    Dear Kailey,
I hope you feel better soon!

My 14 year old daughter was diagnosed with AML when she was 11. She had a bone marrow transplant last March and is doing GREAT!!! We will pray for you to continue to get better and stay healthy. You can visit her website if you'd like. She has gone through a lot of what you have. Maybe you could be penpals. Her Caring Bridge site is: www.caringbridge.org/nc/sherilyn
