Tuesday Morning, September 27th

Kailey continues to do well....better than anyone can believe. Yesterday evening (Monday) the doctor allowed her to go to the playroom, but she was told she would have to wear a mask if other children were there. To her delight, there were no other children in the room!!! She played in both the outside playroom and the inside playroom. It was a wonderful time. There was even a good game of hide and seek!!!! She spent more time playing than what the staff had ok'ed for her, but no one fussed. An advantage when you are sick, right?? She got a good bath last evening and rested well. Since she had the blood transfusion and platelets, she is full of energy!!!

This morning, the hospital teacher has come back by. Another true blessing!! She has spent about an hour with Kailey for the past two days and we think Kailey really enjoys her time with the teacher, believe it or not!!!

Kailey's "counts" are really good and the doctor is just amazed. Our little Kailey is doing well!!!
