Kailey was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myelocytic Leukemia) on September 15th, 2005. Because so many people want to be involved, her family thought it best to keep everyone updated through this website. News Flash for Monday March 6

Doctor Mogul just stopped by to let us know we can go home and we will be continuing her IV antibiotics at home until her counts finally recover. He will be following up with her in the clinic regulary until all counts have recovered. Once this happens we will come in for one more visit to the hospital but it will be an outpatient visit and then we should be able to return home directly after her procedure and hopefully things will be back to normal for the most part by the 1st of March. Thanks again for all your prayers. Please continue to pray for as she still has a long way to go before fully recovered.

    I'm Matt Kirchner and president of FBLA (a club at school) at Sun Valley High School and want to put on a fundraiser for Kailey. I was told about the article in the charlotte paper and could not help not to do anything about it. It is great to see that she is doing better and hope she can return home soon. We really want to help as much as we can. With your permission on May 27 we would like to host a Fundraiser (Laps of Love) to help with the
