Monday, October 3rd
Kailey had a good Monday. Her schedule got messed up Sunday night and she was awake for most of the night, so she slept late Monday morning. She did finally get going late Monday morning and played around the hospital and had a picnic lunch outside.
Dr. Mogul continues to be pleased with her "counts" and it is such a blessing for Kailey to not be experiencing any side effects from the chemo. Her stomach is in good shape and she has not any mouth sores. Dr. Mogul keeps telling us we will see some effects soon, but we are praying otherwise!!!
Other than getting antibodies every 8 hours, Kailey is really enjoying not being tied to a machine and as you can see, she is doing so very, very well.
Remember, tonight is CiCi Pizza Night...skip lunch and eat hardy tonight.....and wear you favorite PJ's!!!
We ask you to continue to pray for little Kailey. Pray she will not have any side effects and the chemo will be effective in treating the leukemia. Dr. Mogul keeps telling us AML is complicated, but we know the Great Physician is at work within in Kailey's body. We are seeking His will as we follow little Kailey through this journey. Praise Him for so many, many blessings so far!!!

Such a great verse! We at Providence are joining Kristen in prayeres for you all and for Kailey. How great to see her smile! Such an encouragement for me and so many others!
