Happy Monday Everyone!!

Kailey had a wonderful mobile weekend!!! And she is doing well. Dr. Mogul and Dr. Parmley continue to be so very, very pleased with how well she is doing. Now that she is off the "machines" most of the time, she is eating and drinking well.

Friday, she explored the hospital but with the wonderful change in weather we had Friday, she stayed outside a lot. We are sure the fresh air did wonders for her. She finished up a whole week with the hospital teacher and we are tickled she has been able to focus on schoolwork.

Saturday, she made the big trip home, and really enjoyed the time with family. She even made a few visits on the way back to the hospital Saturday afternoon. She was allowed to play in the playrooms at the hospital Saturday afternoon/evening and she really enjoyed the freedom.

On Sunday, she had several visitors. Her soccer family came by and again, "hugged" the family with more blessings......an answering machine, gas card, resturant gift cards and more things for Kailey. How wonderful they have been to little Kailey. More visitors with more craft items for Kailey also came by. You can now call Kailey's room number and get quick updates on how she is doing.

This Tuesday night (10/4) the school family is having CiCi Pizza night for Kailey to help with medical expenses. Don't eat any lunch tomorrow and then come out and eat, eat, eat.

Now that Kailey is off chemo, she does like to get out of her room as much as possible. Please remember to call and talk with the person staying with Kailey at the hospital. We would hate to miss anyone who wants to come by for a visit!!

We continue to be blessed in so many ways by so many, many people. And we can't believe how well Kailey is doing. Chemo is such a strong therapy and for Kailey to be doing so very well, it is truly the work of our Lord. It is very incredible to be witnessing Him at work within the life of Kailey. More than anything, we ask that you continue to pray for little Kailey and for the medical team who are treating her. Pray she will not have side effects from the chemo and the medical team will have clear minds as they treat Kailey. Pray Kailey can and will be a witness for all who are being touched by this time in her life. Just think, Kailey is part of an international database of cancer/leukemia patients and we pray "her" results are touching lives everywhere!!!
