Kailey Miller

Kailey was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myelocytic Leukemia) on September 15th, 2005. Because so many people want to be involved, her family thought it best to keep everyone updated through this website. Here you will find updates on how Kailey is doing, what is involved in her treatment at this time, along with some fun pictures of family and friends. Please stay updated to find out how you can be praying for her and our family.

December 20th, Tuesday

Kailey is much better and getting her strength back. Dr. Bryant is pleased with her progress and Kailey even may go home on Wednesday!!! How wonderful to think she will be home for Christmas. We truly need to pray Kailey will not have a set back once she gets home.

Kailey is up and about and enjoying the play room at the hospital. She went through the cards she has received over the past few days...one from Oregon and one from Chicago!!
Kailey received a beautiful "blow up" chair with Junie B books from a friend of Mrs. Ford. She loved the feathers on the chair!!

Please continue to pray for Kailey. Pray she will continue to gain back her strength. Pray she will enjoy the next several days at home with her family. Pray the chemo is being effective in treating the leukemia. Pray her body will somehow be prepared for the next round of chemo scheduled to begin on Monday, 12/26. Pray for Kailey's medical team. Pray they will clearly see God's direction in Kailey's treatment. Pray Kailey will be a witness for our Lord for all who follow her journey. Praise God for the fact we can go to Him in prayer!!!

How wonderful it is to see Kailey up and doing things. I am so happy to hear that she will be able to have Christmas at home with her family. This will truly be a "Special Christmas".

Kailey, you and your family are never far from my thoughts and prayers. I know what a strong little girl you are and knew that you would pull out of that bad time you were going through.

    Love Ya,
    Joan Pearsall
