Monday, October 17 Wonderful, wonderful news

KAILEY GETS TO GO HOME FOR A FEW DAYS!!!! Her bone marrow results are so good that Dr. Mogul is stopping all antibotics and is releasing her from the hospital for about a week. Kailey will have to go to the clinic throughout the week so her blood counts can be monitored, but she will be at home sleeping in her own bed with her family all around her. How can you ever give God enough praise for this wonderful news....when all we were asking for was amazing tests results and we get so much more!! Depending on her blood counts, she will have another bone marrow test next Monday and if her blood counts are up to the point they can safely begin the second chemo treatment, they will re-admit her at that time. Even though Kailey is at home, it is still important to remember Kailey essentially has no immune system right now and we need to be extremely careful in caring for her.

Kailey's family cannot thank everyone enough for all the prayers for little Kailey, which we know have made the difference. We still have several months of the journey ahead of us and the battle is still very serious, but it is so wonderful to get this news. Your heart cannot help but jump for joy. Please, don't stop praying to our Lord on behalf of little Kailey. Continue to ask the Great Physician to completely heal Kailey. Continue to ask our Lord to work through the medical team treating Kailey. Pray without ceasing!!!
