Kailey was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myelocytic Leukemia) on September 15th, 2005. Because so many people want to be involved, her family thought it best to keep everyone updated through this website. December 28, Wednesday

Little Kailey is beginning to experience side effects from the chemo, but they are all normal for a leukemia/chemo patient. She is sleeping most of the time and running a low grade fever with stomach problems. She had similar effects with the last round of chemo and it is just a matter of waiting until she feels better. It is good to know all her blood counts are good, so this is just "normal" effects.

Please pray for little Kailey. Pray she will not experience one second of discomfort. We praise God for such a wonderful facility and staff caring for Kailey. Pray the chemo will be completely effective in treating the leukemia. Pray for Kailey's medical team. Pray they will clearly see God's direction in Kailey's treatment. Pray Kailey will be a witness for our Lord. Praise our Lord for the blessings He is showering on this little girl. Pray without ceasing!!

    I've got a TON of people praying extra hard that this round of Chemo isn't quite so yucky as the last one.
