Kailey's first day of chemo went well with no problems. We should expect some "normal" chemo stuff but we have so truly blessed...normal chemo stuff for Kailey is a headache. If things go well, she will leave the hospital as soon as she finishes up her chemo late tonight or early in the morning! How many chemo patients do you know that are doing this well after five treatments!! We will update you if there are any changes.
Please continue to pray for Kailey. Pray she will not experience any discomfort and the chemo will be completely effective in treating her leukemia. We are coming to the end of the treatment and the Lord has truly blessed Kailey! Pray for her medical team. Pray they will clearly see God's direction as Kailey finishes up her treatment. Praise Him for the wonderful facility and staff so close to home for Kailey. Think of how much time Kailey has spent at home with her family and friends and it has been so easy to go back and forth from this wonderful hospital as needed. Pray Kailey will be a witness to all who learn of her illness. Praise God for all the wonderful blessings Kailey has received!
